My favorite technology device

My favorite technology device is my smartphone. Obviously there are other devices very useful in my life, even this choice was difficult to me.

 My first phone was an ancient one that I used to play games because I didn’t had a SIM card to make calls and I got it when I was a child, my father bought a new one so he gave me the other. But the first smartphone I had was when I was 14 years old ( a little bit late I think) and I was so happy that I looked after it very carefully, and therefore I have lost only one phone and because I got mugged. 

Since then I used my phone a lot, for studying, for playing and taking pictures so I can say it is my most important and favorite technology device because it’s a very portable computer, it is not such powerful as the computers but you can carry it anywhere, and I love that.

Why architecture?

When I was a child I didn’t thought much about what I wanted to do as an adult, I wanted to do things accord to what I liked in that time, for example I had a puppy and I wanted to be a veterinary.

When I was at my last year of secondary education I wanted to be an engineer just because I liked math and I was in a mathematician class, but then (only 6 months from now) I realized that I like structures and things like that, even I liked to play a game when I was a child where you have to imagine what change would you do to any house or building that is near if you could pay for anything you imagine.

When I first came here I asked myself a lot if this is the thing I want to do for a long time, maybe not for the rest of my life but surely for a very long time, and I still can't answer that question. But now that I am in this career I am happy with it, it’s the first time that I want to do almost all the work they give me (there is always something you don't like, for me it is history), obviously I am tired but I am good with the environment of the university and the things I have to do, I have a good feeling about this university and this career. 

A fantastic imagination

I have chosen this image because it is from a fantastic world, and I like a lot Since I was a child, I have been very imaginative and very related to the fantasy worlds. This started in my childhood, I didn't had any brothers and very few friends, so I was used to be alone when I played anything. Also I liked to play a lot with toys, I invented a lot of stories and all of them were very fantastic, with dragons, magic, superheroes and other things like those. Besides, when I was four years old I travelled with my family to Spain, where we visited a lot of ancient castles, and it made me love the fantastic stories of the middle age, like this photo.
